Reports To: Director of Technology and Business Intelligence
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Accelerates the technical team and flow of projects by thorough documentation and communication of business requirements and processes as well as recommendations for execution.
FOR THIS POSITION:
•
Understand, identify and analyze business/ministry needs and processes, conducting requirements gathering and defining the scope for those objectives. Defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.

Solicit, understand, and document the customer's business requirements, processes, and workflows, developing written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows
•
Provide detailed end-user documentation as well as documentation that outlines new, difficult processes
•
Create the functional specifications that meet requirements, serve as a liaison to the developers building those functions, and work with the user teams to test the developed functionality
•
Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.
•
Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through both delivered and custom application platform functionality
•
Work closely with other Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and demonstrate existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders.
•
Actively raises and maintains financial support necessary to support wage compensation requirements according to corporate compensation policies and set rates.
