Senior Azure Databricks Engineer
We are partnering with an organisation accelerating its cloud data transformation and investing heavily in AI-ready data platforms. They are looking for a Senior Azure Databricks Engineer to help scale a modern lakehouse environment supporting analytics, operational reporting, and advanced data use cases across the business.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys building robust cloud-native data solutions in a high-visibility environment.
What you will do
Design, build, and optimise pipelines in Azure Databricks
Develop scalable data processing frameworks using Spark and Delta Lake
Support ingestion, transformation, and modelling of complex enterprise data
Work closely with data architects, analysts, and engineering teams
Help improve platform performance, resilience, and cost efficiency
What we are looking for
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
Excellent Python, SQL, and PySpark skills
Good knowledge of ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Entra ID
Experience delivering production-grade data solutions in Azure
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
