Senior Avaloq Consultant / Solution Lead (Contract)
Contract | London (remote) | Up to £1,000 per day | Rolling 6-Month Contract
We're partnering with a global wealth management and private banking organisation undergoing a major transformation programme. As part of this strategic initiative, we're seeking an experienced Senior Avaloq Consultant / Solution Lead to help define and deliver the future-state banking platform and client experience.
This is an opportunity for an Avaloq expert who combines strong platform knowledge with business consulting, stakeholder engagement and solution design capabilities. You'll play a pivotal role bridging business and technology teams, ensuring Avaloq remains a key enabler of the organisation's transformation objectives.
The Role
As the Avaloq Subject Matter Expert, you will work across product, business and technology teams to assess current capabilities, define future-state requirements, and guide solution design across Avaloq and associated digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the Avaloq SME across a large-scale transformation programme.
• Assess and document current-state Avaloq capabilities, processes and integrations.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Define future-state business requirements and operating models.
• Support solution design across Avaloq and connected digital platforms.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on integration requirements.
• Advise stakeholders on Avaloq best practice and platform capabilities.
Essential Experience
• Strong hands-on Avaloq platform expertise.
• Proven experience delivering Avaloq implementation, enhancement or transformation programmes.
• Wealth Management and/or Private Banking domain knowledge.
• Experience engaging directly with senior business stakeholders and leadership teams.
Desirable Experience
• Avaloq Certified Professional qualifications.
• Experience across:
• Client Onboarding
• Payments
• Lending
• KYC / AML
• Portfolio Management
• Investment Products
• Core Banking Processes
• Data migration programmes.
• Avaloq integrations.
• Solution architecture exposure.
• Experience within UK, Swiss or European private banking environments.
