We are looking for an exceptional software engineer in San Francisco to support the growth of our investment advisory firm. About the role
This s oftware d evelop ment role sits within the I nvestment Strategy team , which is responsible for top-down portfolio construction and asset allocation , for macroeconomic and capital markets research , and for portfolio implementation and rebalancing using our proprietary client portfolio management system s and tools . These tools are used to rebalance portfolios , generate portfolio analytics, and monitor portfolios.
This individual will use their depth of experience in software engineering and design to enhance our existing system and to add new functionality and solve challenging future problems. The individual will maintain and upgrade the application code as well as the web UI , striving for a balance between responsiveness and reliability of our applications .
The senior (VP) role is one of ownership of the systems and entails both hands-on technical work as well as planning for large scale expansion / integration to create the next generation system. The role also involves interfacing with third parties, collaboration with internal business groups, and mentoring and coaching junior members of the investment technology team.

Degree in a related field, such as computer science, computer systems, engineering, etc.
