Mutares actively supports its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company. Your Tasks Support on-site restructuring and performance improvement initiatives across portfolio companies, with a strong focus on liquidity visibility and operational cash management Collaborate closely with the Mutares restructuring team by preparing financial analyses, contributing to financial and liquidity models, and supporting the assessment of restructuring and business improvement measures Support the structuring and implementation of financing measures, including factoring, asset-based lending, and credit facilities, in coordination with internal stakeholders and external financing partners Contribute to the enhancement of finance, controlling, and closing processes, including hands-on involvement in reporting, financial statement preparation, and audit-related activities Support the interaction with external stakeholders such as auditors, financial advisors, banks, and credit insurers by preparing analyses, documentation, and follow-up materials Your Profile Successfully completed a Finance degree or similar with outstanding results At least 2 years of experience in a Big4/Management Consulting firm or Controlling/Finance department of an industry firm, ideally with exposure to restructuring/ turnarounds Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Business fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment What Mutares offers Work in a highly motivated, international, committed, and agile team that enjoys working together Exciting work environment with varied challenges, strategic influence, and tasks for continuous personal and professional development Flat hierarchies, fast decision-making processes, and room for your own ideas Regular team events and offsites
