Role Overview
The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in advancing Everest Group’s HR & Talent (HRT) practice by leading research, analysis, and advisory initiatives across the global HR technology and services landscape. The role combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen and intellectual curiosity to develop actionable insights, deliver high-impact research outputs, and support client engagements. Senior Analysts are expected to take ownership of research areas, contribute to thought leadership, and engage with clients and industry stakeholders to build visibility and influence for Everest Group and themselves in a highly dynamic and disruptive domain.
Key Responsibilities
• Build Expertise and Reputation: Develop deep domain knowledge and become a recognized expert within Everest Group and the HR and Talent ecosystem
• Conduct Research and Analysis: Perform detailed research on HR and Talent markets to identify key trends, market dynamics, and competitive dynamics
• Develop High-Impact Outputs: Translate research and analysis into high-quality reports and frameworks, and present findings to senior client stakeholders
• Establish Thought Leadership: Proactively develop fresh perspectives and contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and articles that enhance the distinctiveness and relevance of Everest Group’s HR & Talent research
• Support Advisory Engagements: Execute advisory assignments through data collection, expert interviews, and presentation to senior client stakeholders; translate data-backed analysis into strategic, actionable recommendations
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues within the HR & Talent practice and across other Everest Group practices to co-create research publications and client deliverables
• Lead and Mentor: Manage multiple workstreams or projects, ensuring structured execution and high-quality outcomes, while guiding junior team members
Experience, skills, and education
We are seeking a high caliber individual to maintain our exceptional standards. This person should have:
• 2–5 years of experience in research, advisory, or management consulting (strategy consulting experience preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication (oral and written) skills
• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in team-based environments
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated record of excellence in academics, personal, and professional pursuits
• MBA from a premier B-school; Non-MBAs (such as those from top-tier engineering schools or premier universities) with strong background in research / advisory / management consulting can also be considered
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Outlook
• Familiarity with the HR & talent domain, through relevant professional experience and/or education background (desired but not essential)
