JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Support Operations with inventory, scrap visibility, and CAPEX tracking • Analyze PPV, overhead absorption, freight, scrap, and SKU-level variances • Work with Purchasing on vendor costing and direct purchase scenarios • Support new product cost development from concept to launch • Partner with Marketing on costing targets and promo financials • Assist with budget/forecast cycles (R0/R1/R2) and actual vs. budget performance reviews • Prepare close journals and eventually lead components of month-end close • Own product BOM costing accuracy (costs, quantities, scrap assumptions) • Manage cost activations, price uploads, and standard cost revaluations • Maintain and improve COGS, margin, and SKU reporting Systems & Technical Skills • ERP: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred) or SAP/Oracle • Analytics: Power BI or Tableau • Data Tools: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, modeling), basic SQL a plus • Manufacturing Finance: Standard costing, BOM structures, COGS/variance frameworks Physical Requirements • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day • Light to moderate lifting may be required • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard
