Be part of the founding team launching the first US Pilatus PC-12 assembly line in Sarasota, FL. Complete 6–12 months of hands-on training in Stans, Switzerland from summer 2026, then return as a core expert to drive ramp-up and mentor new staff, and shaping the future of Pilatus in the U.S. We invite you to visit our website to learn more about this international opportunity: https://www.pilatus-aircraft.com/en/launch-team What you do • Performs mechanical preparation and assembly of PC-12 per approved work instructions • Executes adjustment/rigging and functional testing of aircraft systems and components • Conducts self-inspection and documents work per quality and regulatory requirements • Learns and applies Pilatus production methods and best practices in Switzerland; transfers technical knowledge from Stans to Sarasota • Supports development, standardization, and continuous improvement of US assembly processes • Mentors and trains newly hired assembly mechanics during Sarasota ramp-up • Ensures compliance with EASA regulations, company procedures, and customer quality expectations while operating with high autonomy and serving as technical reference point What you bring • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft assembly, heavy maintenance, or precision mechanical assembly OR 2-year technical degree with 6+ years of relevant aircraft or high-precision mechanical experience. • FAA A&P license preferred, but not required for candidates with strong mechanical background. • Experience interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and quality documentation. • Experience mentoring or informally training others is a strong plus. • Strong attention to detail with a quality mindset. • Willingness to work across multiple assembly stations and adapt to changing priorities. • Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook). • Ability to attend extended training in Switzerland. • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and work in restricted space.
