📋 Description • Build, run, and evolve the API gateway and routing layer connecting engineers and client workloads • Design and build orchestration and lifecycle management for AI capabilities and agents. • Implement and maintain RBAC/OIDC access controls and API key lifecycle management. • Develop caching, cost/latency optimisations, and adoption analytics to measure platform use. • Contribute to API design, versioning, and promotion workflows for moving capabilities to production. • Ensure trust, safety, and governance to keep the platform auditable at scale. 🎯 Requirements • Proficiency in Python or Go with production experience aligned to level (Mid through Principal). • Experience with API gateways (Kong preferred; Envoy or Apigee accepted) or willingness to build • Experience with multiple LLM providers and failover/routing strategies. • Understanding of RBAC/OIDC and disciplined API key lifecycle management. • Familiarity with service-registry patterns (e.g., MCP) is a plus. 🎁 Benefits • Flexible working with hybrid and remote options; offices in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London • 35 days leave, private medical insurance, enhanced parental leave, pension match, paid learning and
