Description
Helping Scale the Next Phase of AI at STARK Group At STARK Group IT, we are looking for a Senior AI Platform Architect to join the Group AI Centre of Excellence. Working closely with the CTO, you will help further   build out   the   CoE   and contribute to shaping the future AI platforms that support innovation and business value across STARK Group. Over the   past   years, AI has become an increasingly important part of our technology landscape. As we continue to mature our capabilities, we are looking for an experienced architect who can help   establish   the   platform   foundations, governance models, and technical standards needed to support scalable and responsible AI adoption across the Group. Your Role and Impact As a Senior AI Platform Architect, you will work at the intersection of architecture, platform design, and business enablement.   You will collaborate closely with the CTO as well as product, engineering, and data teams across STARK Group to translate AI ambitions into practical architecture decisions, scalable platform capabilities, and sustainable ways of working. Some days your focus will be on architecture design and governance. Other days may involve reviewing solutions, mentoring teams, evaluating emerging technologies, or helping AI initiatives move successfully from prototype to production. In this role, you will: • Define scalable AI and LLM architecture patterns, platform principles, and integration approaches covering areas such as RAG, orchestration, context management, and enterprise connectivity. • Establish standards for governance, model lifecycle management, deployment, observability, responsible AI, and   LLMOps . • Guide AI solutions from experimentation to production while balancing performance, scalability, cost, and risk. • Provide   architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentorship across AI initiatives while helping create alignment between business goals and technical possibilities. • Drive innovation, contribute to AI technology strategies and roadmaps, and act as a subject matter expert on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches. You will be successful in this role when teams across STARK Group have the architecture patterns, standards, and platform capabilities needed to build and   operate   AI solutions consistently and responsibly. Through your work, you will help strengthen STARK Group's ability to scale AI across the organisation while maintaining the right balance between innovation, governance, and business value. What We Offer This is an opportunity to join an established AI Centre of Excellence at a time when AI is becoming an increasingly important capability across STARK Group. The role offers a unique combination of strategic influence and technical depth. You will help shape architecture standards, technology direction, and platform capabilities while   remaining   close to the technical decisions that   determine   whether solutions succeed in practice. For someone who enjoys combining architecture, innovation, and hands-on technical leadership, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on how AI evolves within STARK Group. We prefer to fill this role based in Aarhus, though Copenhagen is also   an option . Who We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced architect who combines technical depth with a collaborative mindset. You enjoy creating   structure   in rapidly evolving environments, helping teams navigate complexity, and turning emerging technologies into scalable capabilities that create lasting value. Whether discussing architecture strategy with senior stakeholders or working through technical challenges with engineering teams, you are comfortable bridging the gap between vision and execution. To succeed in this role, you will   likely bring : • Extensive experience within software engineering, technology consulting, or architecture, including several years working in architecture-focused roles. • Proven experience designing and delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based solutions in enterprise environments. • A strong foundation   in software architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and scalable technology design. • Experience working with AI architecture patterns such as RAG, orchestration, agent-based solutions, context management, governance, and deployment strategies. • Strong communication   and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations and decisions. Just as importantly, you thrive in environments where not everything is fully defined. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines, challenging ideas constructively, and helping   organisations   move from experimentation to sustainable adoption of   new technologies . Experience with technologies such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript,   PyTorch , TensorFlow, Azure, Kubernetes, and modern AI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Llamalndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar can be an advantage and will help you get off to a strong start in the role. Welcome to Group IT When you join Group IT, you join a collaborative international organisation where technology and business go hand in hand. We are replacing legacy systems and building a modern, modular IT landscape to support STARK Group's continued growth. You will become part of a community that values knowledge sharing, professionalism, and building solutions that make a clear difference to colleagues across Europe. Want   to know more and apply? We will be happy to answer any questions you may have  regarding  the position and your options in STARK Group.
