Location: This is an onsite role based at Nextiva’s Bengaluru office (Wilshire III by MFAR, 492, Hobli, RHB Colony, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048). Working together onsite strengthens how we operate, enabling faster decisions, clearer communication, and stronger execution, so you can make a greater impact and move work forward with speed and clarity.
In-Office Expectation: This role is expected to work onsite four days per week, with the potential to increase to five days per week, as required by the business. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.

The Role:
The Senior S taff Accountant will perform general accounting duties and various ad hoc requests while supporting the Finance department within t he Shared Services Group. He/she will assist with payment processing, cash flow forecasting, accounts payable and monthly and annual close processes for various international entities , and help develop and maintain documentation as well as strong internal controls. What You'll Do:
Participate in the month-end close process by preparing and recording journal entries in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles ( GAAP), determining and recording accruals, reviewing financial statement trends, and preparing account reconciliations
Working with different entity across different country like Spain, Canada and Including India
Assist in the preparation of the weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Liaise with external 3 rd Party Accountants to ensure timely and accurate month-end accounting and reporting.
Perform P&L and B/S variance analysis and investigate differences
Retrieve approved invoices, select payment dates and submit listing of payments to be processed via International Operations on a weekly basis
Review invoices selected for payment, validate
