You identify and develop sustainable growth opportunities with both new and existing clients in the energy supply and building operations sectors, and position IBM iX as a trusted, long‑term partner for digital transformation, user‑centric solutions, and AI‑driven services. We are looking for you to join us full‑time at our Düsseldorf location (hybrid) at the earliest possible date. With creative approaches and state‑of‑the‑art technologies, we advance the digital transformation of energy and utility companies. Together with our clients, we develop forward‑looking solutions for industrial processes, connect ecosystems, digital platforms, and innovative customer experiences—thereby creating sustainable and efficient growth. Your tasks You actively drive growth in the Energy & Utilities sector by developing and scaling go‑to‑market strategies for the German market, with a clear focus on impact, prioritization, and measurable results You identify new business opportunities with energy suppliers, grid operators, and other market participants in the energy industry, proactively approach them, and acquire new clients You take full ownership of the entire sales cycle—from initial idea through to closing—and strategically further develop existing client relationships You advise your clients as a trusted peer on key industry challenges such as the energy transition, digitalization, new business models, and regulatory requirements Together with interdisciplinary teams, you develop tailored solutions, shape proposals and compelling storylines, and successfully bring projects to marketYou continuously expand your network within the Energy & Utilities ecosystem and leverage partnerships to create sustainable growth You position IBM iX in the market through relevant content, strong perspectives, and thought leadership in the energy sector You share your knowledge within the team, coach colleagues, and support talent development
