Job Summary: HMD is looking to hire a full time, skilled and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing semi-trucks, as well as maintaining and servicing our fleet. Primary Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance on semi-trucks, including DOT inspections, replacement of brakes, shocks, slack adjusters, along with all other trailer axle components. • Conduct thorough inspections of our trucks to identify potential issues. • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed. • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Semi-truck repair: 1 year (Preferred) • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Certification from a recognized technical school or vocational program is a plus.
