Role: Semi-Skilled Workshop Fitter
Location: Worksop, S80 3AT
Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday
Hourly Rate: Up to £15.85 ph DOE
Are you hands-on, reliable, and ready to grow your skills in a fast-paced workshop environment? We’re looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Semi-Skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Manufacturing team in Worksop!
This is a practical role where you’ll support the production process by assembling components to specification, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow build procedures, drawings, and instructions accurately
Work to takt times and complete daily time sheets
Take ownership of your own quality and inspect your work
Use the correct PPE and promote good housekeeping
Support team members and assist with other operations as needed
Be flexible and willing to move between departments when required
Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive attitude
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in production assembly or manufacturing environments
Health & safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
Capable of working to operation/takt times
Able to record activities and complete documentation accurately
Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude and team spirit
Willing to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
Experience in body building, coach building, or reading engineering drawings is a bonus
Flexible with working hours and available for overtime when required
