SEMH Teaching Assistant - Croydon - SEMH School - 95- 115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start • SEMH Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs required • SEMH Teaching Assistant - Experience working within a SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision desirable • SEMH Teaching Assistant - Must be confident supporting behaviour, emotional regulation and learning • SEMH Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP Have you previously worked as a SEMH Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs? Are you able to build positive relationships with pupils who require additional behavioural support? If yes, then this SEMH Teaching Assistant role is for you The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant Seeking a patient and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage their emotions, improve behaviour and access learning. The role involves implementing behaviour strategies, promoting positive relationships, supporting emotional wellbeing and encouraging pupils to develop the confidence and resilience needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. The School - SEMH Teaching Assistant This specialist SEMH provision is located in the London Borough of Croydon and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and provides a highly supportive learning environment with small class sizes, therapeutic input and personalised learning programmes.
