We are looking for a professional to lead and expand our business in the pharmaceutical segment, one of the most strategic markets in our portfolio.
We are looking for a Senior Pharmaceutical Segment Manager to drive the strategic growth of the business, develop the portfolio, and strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers in the pharmaceutical market. This is a leadership position with strong commercial, technical, and strategic responsibilities.
Location: São Bernardo do Campo – Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the commercial strategy for the pharmaceutical segment, defining growth guidelines, market expansion strategies, and portfolio development for specialty ingredients and raw materials;
• Manage and develop the segment's commercial team, accompanying customer visits, evaluating performance, and communicating the strategy while giving the team the necessary autonomy;
• Manage relationships directly with key strategic customers and global suppliers, being responsible for a portfolio of key accounts and their retention and technical-commercial development;
• Identify new business opportunities and lead go-to-market strategies for new products and partnerships in the pharmaceutical segment;
• Promote collaboration between Commercial, Technical, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring market information is aligned and considered in decision-making;
• Continuously review the segment's product and supplier portfolio, identifying opportunities for expansion and areas for optimization;
• Represent the company at trade fairs, technical conferences, and pharmaceutical industry associations, staying ahead of regulatory and market trends;
• Lead strategic negotiations with key customers and corporate presentations to generate new business.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields. An MBA in Business Management or a postgraduate degree in a related field is a plus.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Solid experience in the distribution of specialty ingredients and raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry;
• Proven track record in business development, product/portfolio management, and market expansion in the pharmaceutical sector;
• Experience managing relationships with global customers and suppliers and developing go-to-market strategies;
• Experience working in environments that require close collaboration between Commercial, Technical, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.
Languages:
Advanced English; Spanish is a plus.
