Description Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated and attentive night shift, Security Guard to help maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential to protecting our campus, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring the well-being of everyone who enters our facility. Key Responsibilities • Safeguard hospital grounds to support patient safety, prevent theft or violence, and protect property through active patrols and surveillance monitoring. • Manage visitor access, greet guests, issue IDs, and maintain accurate logs. • Operate, test, and document hospital equipment while completing assigned security tasks and preventive maintenance. • Support clinical teams with video monitoring, high-acuity patient situations, and staff safety during shift changes. • Serve as first contact for emergency responders, provide on-call assistance, and assist other departments as needed. • Document incidents, communicate with security leadership and administration, and comply with all regulations and the Shodair Code of Conduct.
