Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Secondary Physics Teacher to join our dynamic Science department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging Physics lessons up to GCSE/IGCSE level (Key Stages 3 & 4).

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver High-Quality Instruction: Plan and deliver academically rigorous, practical, and engaging Physics lessons up to GCSE level, following the British National Curriculum framework.
• Promote STEM & Inquiry: Foster critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and practical lab skills among students.
• Support Student Progression: Adapt teaching methods to inspire a diverse student body across co-educational junior classes and gender-segregated senior classes.
• Assess and Monitor: Set regular formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress against UK curriculum standards.
• Exam Preparation: Thoroughly prepare Key Stage 4 students for external GCSE/IGCSE examinations (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, or Cambridge).
• Collaborate: Work collaboratively within the Science department to share resources, maintain high safety standards in labs, and promote Physics within the school community.
Requirements & Qualifications
To meet UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) approval guidelines, candidates must possess one of the following qualification pathways:
• Option 1: An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in Physics or Secondary Science with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Option 2: An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in a Science discipline PLUS an internationally recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE with QTS or equivalent.
• Option 3: An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a closely related Engineering/Scientific discipline with QTS or equivalent.
Additional Criteria:
• Experience Level: Proven experience teaching Physics up to GCSE/IGCSE level is essential for this role.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Deep familiarity with British National Curriculum frameworks and exam board requirements (AQA, Edexcel, or CIE).
• Language & Communication: Native or native-level English communication skills are required to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Cultural Awareness: Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural adaptability, with an understanding of British international schooling and Middle Eastern cultural contexts.
