Job Description 2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3am, Includes $1.75 Shift Premium The Material Handler is responsible for performing tasks involving the shipping and receiving finished materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: • Operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks. • Operating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer). • Accurate and timely selecting of orders • Accurately completing work order sheets. • Notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies. • Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use. • Distribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered. • Daily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment. • Load finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe. • Maintain an accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse. • Safety Operate a Forklift, Pallet Jack, and/or Strait Truck • Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s). • Cleaning and maintaining warehouse floor and facilities as needed. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary. • Following set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.
