Secondary English Teacher Wingate School is seeking to recruit an energetic, flexible and dedicated teacher of English currently to IGCSE and A Level. The successful candidates will embrace their role in our unique school, delivering a balanced and relevant teaching programme based on the UK English NC at KS3 and currently the Edexcel Pearson English IGCSE and IAL English Language Wingate School was recognised in our recent Inspection as being “outstanding’ We are looking for candidates to take a key role. Those who have the ability to show initiative in delivering their curriculum and be part of a dynamic Secondary team The successful candidate would be expected to: ● Organise learning resources and the classroom learning environment ● Deliver an exciting and challenging curriculum accessible to all students ● Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children according to age, ability and aptitude ● Assess and record progress using the school tracking system to highlight success and issues alike ● Challenge and inspire pupils to deepen their knowledge and understanding ● Work independently but also be willing to be an active participant in a team working to continue to improve standards across the Secondary School ● Be a class tutor and mentor to students in their pastoral care If you are interested in shaping young creative minds and advancing your teaching career in an international environment, we would love to hear from you!
