Description
Overview /Objective
This position is responsible for deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing broadcast production equipment systems in the Broadcast Engineering environment.
Responsibilities
Have a full understanding of technical facilities, complex broadcast production equipment systems, as well as computer and data network assets in the Broadcast Engineering environment
Ability to rapidly diagnose problems and provide alternative solutions if needed to maintain production deadlines
Ability to comprehend complex concepts and workflows
Participate and contribute to the training and ongoing education of Production personnel in the operation of equipment and systems
The employee must be able to work evening, weekend, and/or overnight shifts.
The employee may be required to work a flexible rotating 24/7 shift.
Required Qualifications
Skills -- Broadcast
Strong technical experience and exposure to broadcast television production equipment, including tape, drive, and memory-based video recorders, production switchers, routers, cameras, transmission and encoding equipment
Strong knowledge of television systems engineering
Skills -- Computer/Storage/Networking/Applications
Knowledge of basic networking
Must have proficient computer skills in Windows and Mac operating systems.
Graphics (Adobe Creative Suite and VizRT)
Knowledge of log monitoring programs
At least 3 years of experience utilizing the aforementioned skill set in day-to-day support of a broadcast television production facility. Must be able to work successfully in a traditional network-based broadcast environment.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS
3+ years of experience in Broadcast Engineering
Management and leadership knowledge and experience

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. The role may require overtime (time worked more than 40 hours) and/or weekends.
