Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Manages all station promotions, including social media accounts, the station website, and the overall aesthetic of the station. SPECIFIC DUTIES: 1. Create graphics and manage overall aesthetic of the station and brand 2. Promote the station, DJ shows, station events, and concerts via social media and/or physical media distributed on campus 3. Update website with current program information, blogs, DJ show profiles, and other elements as needed 4. Communicate with all DJs about University and FCC rules and regulations 5. Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the professional staff QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have prior experience of 1-semester minimum on WDCE Executive Board • Must possess problem solving and growth mindset with a positive attitude and an initiative to resolve questions or concerns • Preferred Experience in creative arts • Must work a minimum of 4 office hours per week • Preferred qualification of a 1-hour (minimum) on-air show • Must attend all weekly Executive Board meetings and General Staff Meetings (unless previously-approved absence) • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Forms and social media platforms • Canva knowledge preferred • Must have experience on maintaining website on WordPress • Proficient in all social media platforms • Preferred experience with creative design and artistry • Strong communication and administrative skills • Ability to multi-task and work independently • Approx. 15-20 hours/week Note to Applicant: This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance.
