Legend Biotech is seeking a Scientist, In Vivo CAR-T Pipeline as part of the Research and Development team based in Philadelphia, PA . Role Overview Legend Biotech is a global leader in the development of innovative cell-based therapies. We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our growing in vivo CAR-T development team. This role provides the opportunity to make a direct scientific impact by advancing our in vivo CAR-T platform from early discovery through preclinical development. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cell&gene therapy, along with a strong foundation in immunology and virology. You will work in a highly collaborative environment alongside research and early development teams to translate novel scientific concepts into robust therapeutic candidates. This role requires scientific rigor, hands-on execution, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced research setting. This is a fully onsite, lab-based position located in Philadelphia, PA. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and execute experimental studies to advance cell and gene therapy platforms and pipeline programs. Conduct and analyze in vitro and in vivo studies to assess product potency, efficacy, and safety. Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot experimental assays, including: Cell line engineering Cell-based functional and cytotoxicity assays ELISA and PCR-based assays High-throughput binder screening Viral vector packaging and titration Analyze and interpret complex datasets and maintain accurate experimental documentation. Prepare clear, high-quality reports and presentations and communicate findings to internal research and cross-functional teams. Requirements PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular OR Master’s degree with 3–6+ years of relevant experience Hands-on experience in immunology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or related fields Experience with viral vector systems (especially lentivirus) is highly preferred Industry or postdoctoral experience is a plus   #Li-JR1 #Li-Onsite The base pay range below is what Legend Biotech USA Inc. reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
