Your Profile: • Master's degree in Cell Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant laboratory experience; industry experience is an advantage. • At least 3 years of practical laboratory experience in cell biology, including strong expertise in human cell culture, such as HUVECs, and transfection methods. • Hands-on experience with CRISPR-based gene editing approaches. • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including RT-qPCR, immunoassays and Western blotting. • Experience with imaging-based techniques is an advantage. • Experience in troubleshooting experiments, handling laboratory equipment, and optimizing workflows to improve assay robustness and performance. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of experiments from study design through execution, analysis, and presentation of results. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality experimental documentation. • Proficiency in written and spoken English. • Collaborative mindset, flexibility, and ability to work effectively across teams and with different project stakeholders. Your Tasks: • Develop and apply human in vitro models and functional assay workflows to support translational research programs. • Generate high-quality experimental data to characterize the mode of action of novel therapeutic candidates in cardiovascular and renal indications. • Independently perform human cell culture, transfection, gene editing, and assay workflows with strong attention to scientific rigor, reproducibility, and data quality. • Contribute to the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of experimental approaches and assay performance. • Analyze, interpret, and clearly present experimental results to project teams and stakeholders. • Maintain accurate documentation of experimental work and support implementation of laboratory best practices and quality standards. • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and contribute to a safe, well-organized, and collaborative working environment. • Work closely with scientists across projects and functions, contributing to a highly interactive and team-oriented research setting/ul>
