Schools PFI Expiry Project Manager needed in Southampton
This is a temporary role and the rate is £24.46ph

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate all activity required to deliver a smooth and compliant expiry of a long‑term PFI contract, ensuring early planning, robust preparation, and effective execution throughout the transition period.
They will develop and maintain a detailed expiry plan, secure stakeholder approval, and manage all associated commercial, financial, and service‑related considerations to protect organisational interests. They will build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, government representatives, SPV partners, advisors, and wider stakeholders to minimise inherited risk and support a successful contract exit.
They will interpret complex contractual obligations, translate them into clear demobilisation requirements, and oversee asset and service handover activities, ensuring statutory compliance, accurate data, and high‑quality documentation at every stage.
