[What the role is] School of Engineering - Lecturer (Business Process & Engineering Management) [What you will be working on] •    Facilitate student learning, develop curricula and participate in development projects in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management related areas such as Manufacturing, Services, Maritime, F&B, Healthcare, Aerospace and Social Service Agencies (SSAs). •    Develop and conduct Continuing Education and Training (CET) lessons. •    Initiate and take part in academic research projects, R&D/Implementation projects or consultancy to the industry. •    Undertake other administrative work related to the programme and student development activities. •    Duties also include mentoring and motivating students, supervising student final year projects and competitions, soliciting and supervising student internship, partaking in service learning journeys, and reaching out to various stakeholders such as potential students, teachers, parents, industry partners and universities. [What we are looking for] •    Qualification in Industrial and Systems Engineering / Operations Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Engineering / Business / IT / Computer Science or equivalent. •    Relevant working experience in large-scale business operations and systems automation implementation for productivity improvements and resource management, as well as business data analytics, business process optimisation and decision analysis. •    Strong industry linkages in the related fields. •    Familiar with the best practices and applications in the service or manufacturing industry, such as Internet of Things (IoT), lean six sigma, human factors, sustainability, operations research and simulation, quality and reliability engineering, and additive manufacturing.
