[What the role is] School of Business - Lecturer (Mass Communication) [What you will be working on] Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: •    Develop, facilitate and enhance curriculum for diploma and adult learners in one or more areas, including: • Digital media and content strategy • Video production, storytelling and multimedia content creation • Public relations and corporate communications • Generative AI for content creation and communication •    Design authentic learning experiences using real-world briefs, industry practices, emerging technologies and applied projects. •    Develop assessments, rubrics and feedback approaches that support professional communication practice. •    Supervise student projects, internships and industry collaborations. •    Source and manage industry partnerships, projects and experiential learning opportunities. •    Mentor students in communication practice, portfolio development, employability, ethics and responsible use of technology like Gen AI. [What we are looking for] •    Relevant qualifications in Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or related fields. •    At least 5 years of relevant industry experience. •    Strong industry networks and ability to establish partnerships that create authentic learning opportunities for students. •    Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their responsible use in communication, content creation, editing, fact-checking and audience engagement. •    Excellent written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills, with a good command of English. •    A collaborative, agile and student-centred mindset, with a passion for developing future-ready communication professionals.
