We are looking for dedicated cleaning staff who take pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring school environments remain clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils and staff. The Role As a School Cleaner, you will: • Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, staff areas, and communal spaces. • Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the school premises. • Vacuum, sweep, mop and sanitise designated areas. • Clean washrooms and replenish consumables including soap, paper towels and toilet rolls. • Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and efficiently. • Follow all school health and safety procedures. • Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager or Supervisor. • Work as part of a professional team to ensure the school is ready for the following day. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: • Previous cleaning experience in a school, commercial, or similar environment. • A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH practices. • An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Professional references covering the last three years. • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
