SAP S/4HANA Transition Project Manager -Bilingual Japanese/English – Temporary
Location: New York City (Manhattan) – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) Contract: 12-Month Initial Contract (with potential extension – Multi-year project) Start Date: September 2026 (Target)
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transition Project Manager to lead an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration as part of a global ERP transformation programme. The role requires close collaboration with U.S. and Japan-based stakeholders, implementation partners, and senior business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Manage project planning, governance, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate business, IT, and external implementation partners.
• Lead project meetings, reporting, and executive updates.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Skills & Experience
• 10+ years’ experience managing enterprise ERP transformation projects.
• Proven SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration project management experience (essential).
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
• Business to native-level Japanese and English (essential).
• Experience working across Japanese and international teams.
• Able to work onsite in Manhattan 2-3 days per week.
