We are seeking an SAP Center of Excellence Manager to take ownership of a functional area within our SAP CoE (FTM, Controlling, PTP, OTC, Basis & Developers), covering both delivery of ongoing S/4HANA rollouts and the stable operation of production systems.
You will manage a functional team, plan and allocate resources across rollout and run activities, and work closely with the SAP Governance as well as SAP Project & Change Management Teams.
Your responsibilities:
• Managing the SAP CoE team (FTM, Controlling, PTP, OTC, Basis, Developers).
• Planning team workload and allocating resources between rollouts and BAU/maintenance activities.
• Delivering S/4HANA rollouts in line with the global template (Europe).
• Overseeing BAU system operations and user support.
• Collaborating with Project Managers and Product Owners of systems integrated with SAP.
• Managing external suppliers and the quality of their delivery.
• Maintaining end-to-end process consistency across countries and workstreams.
• Monitoring delivery risks and reporting status.
• Building strong relationships between business and technology, and aligning stakeholders around realistic expectations.
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in one of the SAP functional areas (FTM / OTC / PTP or related).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in team management.
• Experience with SAP rollouts and system maintenance, ideally ECC or S/4HANA.
• Proven experience leading a functional CoE team or similar structure.
• Strong supplier management skills (allocation, SLAs, quality).
• Experience working within a global template model.
• Experience operating at the business–IT interface.
• Understanding of capacity planning and multi-workstream environments.
• Experience with AI in SAP or finance processes (implementation, use case identification).
• Very good command of English.
Nice to have:
• Experience in logistics or e-commerce.
• Knowledge of R2R, P2P, O2C processes.
• SAP Activate, ITIL.
• Experience in GBS / SSC environments.
