Our Home is one of the fastest growing Better For You food brands in the country and this explosive growth requires great people with a passion for better-for-you snacks.​​ This role contributes to Heartland Harvest, Inc’s success by maintaining quality and food safety through cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.    ​  Key Responsibilities  Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly sanitation tasks as outlines in the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and designated by Quality Manager.   Clean floors, walls, ceilings and moving stock with chemicals  Adhere to safety and chemical standards  Sanitation tasks include interior and exterior.  Responsible for food safety by keeping facility areas clean.  In absence, Quality Manager will delegate tasks  Responsible for reporting food safety, food quality or plant safety issues.  Requirements Experience in manufacturing environment.  Prior sanitation experience preferred  Hear and follow verbal instructions  Read, understand and follow verbal and written directions       Should have good documentation skills.  Ability to read, write and communicate effectively    Work Environments/Physical Demands   Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell  Occasionally lift/move 50 lbs  Specific vision includes the following: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus  Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes/airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration  Exposed to high areas using scissor lift(s)  Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) 401k Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Parental Leave Short Term & Long Term Disability No recruiters, please
