Description Role and Responsibilities The Sanitation Manager is responsible for product quality and safety by ensuring that all bakery equipment, structural and storage facilities are following Good Manufacturing Processes and Federal, State, and local food protection standards. In this role, you will inspect, monitor, and educate, our facility regarding food safety and cleanliness in the handling, production, and transportation of ingredients and finished products. Qualifications and Education Requirements • 2 plus years of sanitation management experience in a food manufacturing environment. • Managing, evaluating, motivating, and directing sanitation initiatives for Plant Sanitation supervision and crew. • Ensuring compliance with standards and systems to monitor food safety, and facility cleanliness. • Ensuring compliance and monitors standards for local sanitation manpower, and supply expenses. • Scheduling, training, and directing cleaning crews. Requirements Preferred Skills • Understands the importance of all quality aspects of the food industry including, but not limited to; personal GMP’s. • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. • Highly self-motivated with attention to detail. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Strong analytical/problem solving skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies. • Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities. • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with the ability to improve and promote quality.
