Description
Description Works under the supervision of the Facilities Director. Responsible for the maintenance of the grounds, sanitation, and trash collection of Eliada Homes, Inc. Major Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the mowing of lawns and the general upkeep of the grounds. 2. Responsible to keep limbs, trash, etc. picked up on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 3. Keep hedges pruned and trimmed. 4. Daily trash collection across Eliada’s programs. 5. Responsible to see that roads and walks are scraped and de-iced during winter. Other Responsibilities: 1. Maintain cleanliness of gutters. 2. Maintain and service all equipment. 3. Mulch flowerbeds as needed. 4. Maintain all fence lines. 5. Other jobs as assigned by Facilities Director Requirements Position reports to: Facilities Director Knowledge : Minimum high school diploma or GED. Experience: Some experience in maintenance of grounds and/or sanitation preferred. Skills/Physical/Working Conditions: Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and be insurable by Eliada insurance carriers. The position may require frequent local travel and hazards can be many due to type of work being done on campus. The position requires employee to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
