Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. The Work:   ICF seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support   a Salesforce Center of Excellence program   for one of our government clients. The Business Analyst will work closely with federal stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and program leadership to analyze business needs, document requirements, support solution design, and help ensure successful delivery of   Salesforce   capabilities. The role requires strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills in a federal Agile delivery environment. Job Location:   Remote work is authorized.  Must support US Eastern time zone working hours . *If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does  monitor  employee work locations blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses and prohibits personal VPN connections. What You Will Do: • Engage with federal stakeholders to understand current business processes,   identify   pain points, and gather functional and non-functional requirements. • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, process flows, and system requirements to support development and delivery activities. • Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, developers, testers, and other team members to prioritize and refine the product backlog. • Facilitate   requirements   discussions, working sessions, stakeholder interviews, and backlog refinement activities. • Create and   maintain   comprehensive documentation, including business process documentation, requirements specifications, user stories, workflow diagrams, meeting notes, user guides, and program deliverables. • Support testing activities by helping define test scenarios,   validate   requirements, review defects, and ensure delivered functionality aligns with stakeholder expectations. • Assist   in preparing and delivering user training, job aids, and   adoption   materials to support effective use of project tools and processes. • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to ensure shared understanding of priorities, requirements, risks, and dependencies. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Support governance, reporting, quality reviews, and lifecycle checkpoints by ensuring required documentation and deliverables are   accurate , complete, and aligned with client standards. • Contribute to   continuous process improvement by   identifying   opportunities to streamline workflows, improve documentation, and enhance stakeholder engagement. What You Will Bring   With   You: • 3+ years of work experience in Information Technology, including at least one Salesforce project. • 3+ years of experience and proven   proficiency   with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite. • 1+ years of experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation. • Candidate must have a Public Trust or an Active Secret clearance • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements • Candidate must   reside   in the U.S.,   be authorized to   work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years. What We Would Like You   To   Bring   With   You: • Experience working with federal government clients or large-scale government programs. • Familiarity with emergency management, crisis response, continuity, resilience,   grants   management, case management, compliance, or related mission-support environments. • Experience supporting systems modernization, application development, data management, reporting, or workflow automation projects. • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum or   SAFe . • Experience supporting user acceptance testing, defect triage, release planning, and production deployment activities. • Experience developing training materials, standard operating procedures, job aids, or other end-user support documentation. Professional Skills: • Highly effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to produce polished and well-organized written deliverables. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with team members and federal clients. • Organized, detail- oriented   and able to prioritize and multitask. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is : $67,355.00 - $114,503.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
