 Job Description The Sales Operations & Commercial Effectiveness Leader drives BU‑level operations to ensure consistent, high‑quality commercial execution across APM Greater Asia. Partnering with country and regional leaders, the role plans, deploys, and continuously improves sales and marketing operating models, processes, and tools. This role plays a central leadership position in building a best‑in‑class commercial ecosystem, driving process discipline, insight‑driven decision making, scalable execution, and a culture of operational rigor and performance transparency. Key Responsibilities: Sales Operations & Strategy Leadership • Lead multiple Sales Operations sub‑functions at the BU level (e.g., Contracts, Pricing, Inventory, Sales Operations), including strategy setting, policy development, and authorization of execution • Define and drive the Greater Asia Sales Operations strategy in partnership with senior commercial leadership • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor to country and regional leaders on business operations and commercial execution Strategic Planning & Project Execution • Lead and execute high‑priority, multi‑country strategic initiatives (e.g., Strategy Planning, AOP, critical transformation projects ) • Prioritize and select initiatives with the highest business impact and execution urgency • Analyze complex business challenges and formulate clear, actionable recommendations for leadership decision‑making Commercial Excellence & Tools Deployment • Deploy and scale commercial excellence tools across countries, ensuring smooth transitions, high adoption, and minimal disruption • Refine and standardize Salesforce (SFDC) usage across Greater Asia, including: • Funnel and pipeline management • Opportunity management standards • Workflow optimization and dashboard governance • Leverage analytics to assess the effectiveness and alignment of sales and clinical resources against business objectives, recommending changes where needed Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Enablement • Partner with Marketing and Professional Education to support execution of technical and sales training (Sales Training, Area Sales, Technical Product Training) • Work closely with stakeholders to understand evolving needs and ensure commercial tools and processes meet business requirements • Provide structured training and ongoing support to ensure sustained adoption of new tools and processes Performance Management & Continuous Improvement • Establish KPIs and metrics to track performance and value realization of deployed tools • Drive visibility through dashboards and analytics to support performance management • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead changes to enhance the commercial operating model Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA or equivalent business experience preferred • More than 7+ years of commercial experience, including 5+ years of leadership in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, or Sales Effectiveness roles within a regional or multi‑country, matrixed environment • Proven track record of driving process excellence, leading cross‑functional initiatives, and delivering measurable business results • Prior sales or sales leadership experience strongly preferred • Extensive experience with Salesforce.com (funnel management, dashboards) and marketing automation tools (Marketo). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in MS Excel and SAP knowledge. • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, both in person and virtually. • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines Warum zu uns?
