Description
Sales Representative Opportunity (Luxury Architecture/Construction) Our client is a rapidly growing specialty construction products company that has established itself as a leader within a highly customized and design-focused niche. The organization partners with homeowners, architects, designers, general contractors, and owner representatives on premium residential renovation and restoration projects throughout a major metropolitan market. Known for delivering high-quality, custom-engineered products sourced from leading manufacturers around the world, the company has experienced significant growth in recent years and continues to invest heavily in expanding its sales team. With a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and a strong reputation for craftsmanship and customer service, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a growing organization with substantial long-term earning potential. Position Overview & Key Responsibilities • Develop and grow a sales pipeline through a combination of self-generated prospecting efforts and company-provided inbound leads. • Actively pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and relationship-building within the construction, design, and building products industries. • Meet with homeowners, architects, designers, general contractors, owner representatives, and other project stakeholders to identify opportunities and understand project requirements. • Qualify inbound inquiries to ensure projects align with company capabilities, budgets, and target markets. • Schedule and conduct client meetings, project consultations, and site visits throughout the local market. • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals to create a consistent flow of referral and repeat business. • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, manufacturing capabilities, and value proposition. • Gather project information and prepare detailed estimating briefs for the estimating team. • Guide prospects through the sales process, present solutions, negotiate pricing within established parameters, and secure contracts. • Maintain ownership of client relationships throughout the sales cycle before transitioning projects to the project management team for execution. • Utilize CRM, project management, and communication platforms to track activity, manage opportunities, and maintain accurate records. • Attend manufacturer visits and training sessions to stay current on products, technologies, and industry trends. • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the continued growth of the organization. Qualifications & Requirements • Prior experience within the construction, building products, architectural products, millwork, windows and doors, or related industries is required. • Proven success in a business development or sales role with responsibility for generating new business opportunities. • Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, and build a pipeline from the ground up. • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development through contract negotiation and closing. • Consultative sales approach with the ability to build long-term relationships rather than focus solely on transactional sales. • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously. • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. • Comfortable meeting with a variety of stakeholders, including homeowners, architects, designers, contractors, and owner representatives. • Experience with longer sales cycles and complex projects is highly preferred. • Business-to-consumer (B2C) sales experience is a plus, though business-to-business (B2B) backgrounds will also be considered. • Proficiency with CRM, project management, and business productivity software. • Demonstrated drive, resilience, and professionalism with a desire to grow alongside a rapidly expanding company.
