Description
About Wisconsota Painting Wisconsota Painting is building the most respected repaint brand in the Midwest. There are over 260,000 painting contractors across the country, but very few operate like true businesses. Most lack structure, margin discipline, and leadership development. We are here to raise the standard. We operate differently than most contractors: • 50%+ gross margin standards • KPI-driven accountability • Structured sales systems • Leadership development focus • Excellent customer experience Our Mission To enrich the communities we serve by providing top-tier painting services, fostering an exceptional workplace, and generously giving back. Our Vision To become the Midwest’s gold-standard painting company — known for quality, integrity, leadership, and performance. The Role As a Sales Representative (Project Consultant), you are responsible for generating profitable revenue. You will: • Run in-home and virtual consultations • Diagnose homeowner needs • Build accurate, margin-protected estimates • Close projects on the first visit whenever possible • Follow up consistently • Maintain CRM discipline Average project value: approximately $6,500 Top performers close 8–12 projects per month. This is a hybrid role. You manage your schedule and pipeline and are measured by results. Why This Role Stands Out • Hybrid flexibility — you control your schedule • Autonomy — you are trusted to manage your pipeline like a professional • Direct access to the founder — high performers receive mentorship and exposure • Career development planning — intentional conversations about your growth • Leadership investment — developing sales professionals into future leaders • Skill development — closing, negotiation, pipeline control, and time management • Team connection — regular company gatherings and shared momentum This is not a capped, clock-in sales job. It is a career path. Who This Role Is For This role is for someone who: • Is competitive and performance-driven • Tracks their numbers • Understands that margin matters • Wants uncapped earning potential • Welcomes coaching and accountability • Can handle rejection without losing intensity • Wants long-term growth Bonus points if you have sold in-home services and consistently closed on the first visit. If you want low expectations and predictability, this role will feel demanding. If you want income growth and leadership upside, this role will feel right. Who This Is Not For This role is not for someone who: • Avoids accountability • Blames leads or pricing • Dislikes follow-up • Needs micromanagement • Wants capped income We are building professionals. Performance Standards Minimum expectations: • 45% close rate • 50%+ gross margin discipline • 2 self-generated leads per week • Accurate estimating • Willing to work at least 2 weekends per month • Strong CRM follow-up Weekly KPI reviews and coaching are part of our culture.
