What you’ll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Sales Engineer's (SE) primary role is to partner with account executives and channel partners to achieve sales goals. This position will evaluate technical requirements of new sales opportunities and present technical solutions to meet the needs of prospective and existing customers.
This role is offered as hybrid, with the expectation to be in the office 3 days per week of your choosing. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Kanto area, Japan and have sponsorship to live and work in Japan. # LI -Hybrid
What you can expect to do in this role:
Customer Facing Responsibilities
Work jointly with the Jamf Account Executives, prospective and existing customers, and partners to convey the business value of Jamf
Gain clear understanding of prospect/customer requirements and clearly outline how to address those requirements via the Jamf Portfolio
Own all presales technical activities by providing presentation, demonstration, and evaluation experiences to prospective and existing customers
Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers to progress Jamf portfolio awareness and investment
SE Team Responsibilities
Contribute to special projects as assigned by SE Management to support initiatives that progress the Sales organization and Jamf as a whole
Represent Jamf at external events as technical focal points, collaborating with Marketing, Channel, and Sales teams to maximize business outcomes for Jamf.
Personal Responsibilities
Develop and maintain knowledge of value and technical capabilities of all products in the Jamf portfolio
Exhibit professional and timely written and oral communication
Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization
What we are looking for:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent, A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
Professional level Japanese (written and spoken) and intermediate level English (written) proficiency.
3 years of technical sales, support, or services experience.
Knowledge and hands-on experience across MDM and endpoint management, security architecture, identity and access management, and enterprise networking technologies (VPN, ZTNA, SD-WAN, network segmentation).Experience selling to multiple levels within a complex organization (Preferred)
Experience selling to multiple levels within a complex organization (Preferred)
Exposure to Jamf products, related architecture tools and relevant competing solutions (Preferred)
Proficiency with Apple technology (MacOS and iOS) and Mobile Device Management (preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
As a Jamf employee you will be expected to travel up to 30% to attend events specific to your role include international travel
