The Client A market leading supply chain and global fulfilment business with plans in place to grow turnover from £100m to £150m in the next five years. They are a real success story in the UK with over 500 staff, providing a range of services that lead the field in terms of technical capability and customer benefits. You will find an open and rewarding culture across the business where each department is hungry for further growth and success. They are now looking to recruit a Sales Director for the UK. The Role As the Sales Director for the UK, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve sales revenue targets and expand overall market presence. Sectors include Retail and eCommerce, specifically Fashion, Beauty and Wellbeing where they possess a global, multi-site client list which is the envy of their competitors. You will be given immediate scope to design, recruit and build both internal sales and external BDM teams across the UK. You will be expected to build a strong team ethos across the sales department and create personal development initiatives for all team members that reflects the ambitions and culture of the business. As you achieve your goals your role will be expanded to grow the business across Europe/US The Candidate It’s likely that you are a proven Sales Director with a track record of success in improving BDM sales team performance across Retail/eCommerce accounts. Knowledge of the logistics, supply chain or fulfilments industries is preferred. The Reward A basic salary of £110 – 120,000 is on offer with a company car, a lucrative bonus scheme giving an OTE of around £170,000 plus all associated benefits expected with a role of this nature.
