Sales Director • Sales Director Sales Director We’re seeking a hands-on Sales Director to lead and scale a field sales organization across a strategic Northeast territory. This is a leadership role at the intersection of team development, revenue growth, and direct customer engagement. You’ll build a high-performing sales culture rooted in technical expertise and consultative selling, driving profitable growth while coaching consultants and managing key accounts. This is a position for a leader who can balance strategic planning with tactical execution, influence across departments, and build lasting customer relationships in industrial markets including heavy-duty, cement, mining, and food manufacturing. About the Role • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 18+ consultants to meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures across the team • Recruit, onboard, and train new consultants with strong technical and sales capabilities • Develop and execute account strategies and territory plans to drive profitable revenue growth • Meet directly with key customers and strategic accounts to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities • Own CRM utilization and pipeline management; develop accurate quarterly forecasts • Leverage data and analytics to identify performance gaps and improve sales effectiveness • Partner with Corporate Sales, Business Development, and Inside Sales to align strategy and maximize conversion • Serve as liaison between field sales and corporate teams; collaborate across departments on strategy alignment • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and key customer engagements • Support M&A integration efforts and manage change initiatives for new processes and systems • Build a high-performance, results-driven culture focused on growth, accountability, and continuous improvement Your Experience & Skills • 5+ years of successful B2B sales management experience • Proven track record of consistently delivering against revenue and growth targets • Experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing sales teams • Strong background in consultative and technical sales in industrial or distribution channels • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems • Exceptional coaching, communication, and presentation skills • Results-oriented with strong business acumen and performance focus • Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies Desirable • 10+ years in industrial, lubrication, or specialty chemical markets • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field • Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Lubrication Specialist, MLT1) • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth organization For more details and information about the job, apply.
