Description
CIQ builds enterprise infrastructure for demanding workloads, from operating systems through AI infrastructure and cloud orchestration. This Sales Development Representative role qualifies inbound interest, initiates new conversations, and sets meetings for the sales organization, serving as the first point of contact for prospects in platform engineering, HPC, and AI infrastructure leadership.
What You'll Do
• Follow up on high-volume inbound leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn to advance prospects through CIQ's sales process
• Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns targeting new accounts with researched, personalized outreach to generate qualified meetings
• Research accounts and contacts to build a point of view on infrastructure challenges and open conversations through discovery calls and email sequences
• Use active listening and discovery to uncover business problems around cost, vendor lock-in, security, compliance, and performance, connecting them to CIQ solutions
• Hit activity and outcome targets across calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, and meetings booked to achieve monthly and quarterly quotas
• Maintain clean pipeline data and accurate records in HubSpot and sales engagement tools
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Marketing to refine messaging and improve deal handoffs
What You Need
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience as an SDR, BDR, or comparable role
• Highly motivated and resilient with ability to set your own pace and bounce back from rejection
• Genuine curiosity about technology and eagerness to learn CIQ's products and the Linux, HPC, and AI infrastructure landscape
• Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and professional on phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and discipline to follow established processes; self-directed in a remote environment
Nice to Have
• Prior sales, customer-facing, or startup experience
• Experience with HubSpot or a sales engagement platform
• Interest in or exposure to Linux, open source, cloud, HPC, or AI infrastructure
