ABOUT THE TEAM
You’ll join both Sales and Sales operation teams.
Located in our EMEA headquarters near Geneva (Switzerland), the Sales Operations team focuses on sales analytics, process & tools improvements, and general team support. The department includes 4 people and belongs to the broader European Sales Team (70+ people) located across Europe.
Regarding the Sales team, your main stakeholders will be the Sales Manager Columbia Europe, and the Value Channel Director.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator Intern to join our team and contribute to the management of key accounts and value accounts. This role offers hands‑on experience in sales operations, data analysis, and account coordination across major key account partners.
You will support the sales team in ensuring smooth processes, accurate information flow, and optimized business opportunities, while gaining exposure to both wholesale and value sales environments.
As a member of the Sales Operations team, you will engage in significant long‑term analytical projects that drive business results.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
✅ Key Account Support:
• Conduct weekly sell through analysis to identify opportunities and adjust open to buy plans
• Monitor logistics data (service and availability rates)
• Coordinate referencing information and product sheets during sell in periods
• Manage samples and follow up after sell in
• Coordinate product copies and pictures for online and retail visibility
✅ Value Channel Support:
• Prepare and send close out lists to centrally managed accounts
• Follow up on order entry and confirmations with account sales reps
• Maintain referencing master files and track sell through on flash sales
• Support seasonal close out strategy definition with the Value Channel Director
• Monitor close out inventory weekly
• Prepare Sell-In Meetings
✅ Sales Operations Support:
• Support on our B2B tool Columbia Connect
• Support the team on several operational topics
• Carry out ad hoc analysis and projects
• Being trained and exposed to advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI analysis
ABOUT YOU
• You’re currently pursuing a Master’s degree with a strong Sales and business focus –Strategy and Management, Finance, Business Analytics – and looking for a 6-month internship in the sportswear, consumer goods, or fashion industry.
• You already have work experience in a similar position, as an intern, and you are comfortable working in an International office environment.
• Curious and proactive, you like asking questions, digging into data, and understanding the bigger picture behind the numbers. You’re comfortable working with Excel and enjoy using these tools to turn insights into action.
• You’re structured, reliable, and take full ownership of your work. You enjoy collaborating with others, but also know how to work independently, and ask questions when you don’t know. Your mindset is both analytical and solution-oriented — and you’re eager to contribute, grow, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• You have full professional fluency in English, in writing and speaking
• You have full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)

It is mandatory that the internship is a part of your studies, and you must provide an internship agreement from your school or university. Full-time availability for 6 months is required.
