Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business acquisition by selling card acquiring and payment acceptance solutions to low-risk merchants across the UK
• Build and manage a strong outbound sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events
• Identify, approach, and close new merchant opportunities across target verticals such as e-commerce, retail, digital services, SaaS, and other low-risk industries
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure efficient merchant onboarding and successful implementation
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting
Requirements
• Proven B2B sales experience within payments and FinTech
• Proven experience selling card acquiring or payment acceptance solutions
• Strong understanding of the UK payments market and local payment methods
• Demonstrated success in generating outbound pipeline independently
• Experience managing the full sales cycle and closing new business
• Understanding of merchant pricing, settlement, onboarding processes, risk, and compliance fundamentals
• Strong CRM discipline with structured pipeline management and reporting
• Existing network within the UK payments ecosystem is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
