Are you an experienced aviation compliance professional ready to take ownership of safety, quality and regulatory compliance at a senior level? MPI is recruiting a Safety, Quality & Compliance Monitoring Manager (SCMM) to join a leading Part 145 maintenance organisation based at Stansted Airport. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance, driving a strong safety culture, and maintaining robust quality systems across both maintenance and FBO operations. What you'll be doing Leading and maintaining the organisation’s Safety Management System (SMS) and Compliance Monitoring System Overseeing internal and external audits, including CAA, customer and third-party audits Managing non-conformities and driving corrective and preventative actions Ensuring compliance with CAA, Part 145 and IS-BAH standards Acting as a key liaison with the Accountable Manager and senior leadership team Managing Part 145 staff authorisations, competency records and training compliance Leading the annual audit programme and ensuring timely closure of findings Acting as Safety Manager for FBO operations under IS-BAH Driving continuous improvement, regulatory alignment and a strong just culture What we're looking for Strong background in Part 145 aircraft maintenance environments (essential) In-depth knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks (CAA / EASA / IS-BAH) Experience in compliance monitoring, safety management or quality leadership roles Recognised auditing qualification or equivalent experience Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to act as a trusted advisor at senior management level Highly organised, analytical and confident in decision-making A Part 66 Licence (AML) and experience with audit management systems (e.g. Q-Pulse, Centrik) would be advantageous but not essential.
