SACCO OFFICER JOB ANNOUNCEMENTTanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) Arusha is looking for a self – motivated, committed, and qualified SACCO OFFICER to join the team in Arusha.Job DescriptionThe officer will report to the Regional Executive Officer and the SACCO board, and will have the following responsibilities:Review and formulate policies, procedures and practices for SACCO operationsAdministration and processing of loans and follow- up of loan repaymentSending useful information to SACCO membersManaging SACCO financial resources and assetsPreparation of SACCO financial and activity reports (monthly, quarterly and factsheet)Come up with income generating activities for the SACCO.Recruit new SACCO members(youth, women, and groups)Prepare SACCO business plan and annual budgetsCoordinate the external audit exercise and implement recommendations set forth.Organize and deliver training to SACCO membersOrganize board meetings and Annual General Meeting in an advisory capacity and implement the resolutions made thereofConduct regular visits and evaluation of the performance of our district SACCOsCarry out other duties as prescribed in the rules / by – laws or directed by the BoardQualification and ExperienceThe candidate must possess the following qualifications:A degree in cooperative management, microfinance or any business related degreeMinimum of two ( 2) years working experience in a financial institution preferably a SACCOComputer literacy especially in MS Office and knowledge in accounting systems.Good presentation and reporting skillsKnowledge of the cooperative Act and SACCO’s regulations.Qualified candidates should apply by sending only their CV to [email protected] deadline for all applications is on 15th April 2024
