Job Purpose DBS Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Financial Markets Operations team in Singapore as a Senior Associate or Assistant Vice President. This role will be responsible of the exceptions handling, settlement, reconciliation and control checks on Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Non-Deliverable Forwards products and CLS process. Key Accountabilities • Provide end-to-end processing support for GFMO on Foreign Exchange, Money Market, and Non-Deliverable Forward products across Singapore, Australia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, control checks, investigation, and exception handling. • Provide end-to-end support to FX CLS supported across Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea entities • Drive and support initiatives, process improvements, and projects to enhance processes • and productivity, taking accountability for successful implementation. • Perform data analysis and problem solving at SME level • Proactively seek for opportunities to data discovery and insight • Takes accountability and demonstrates commitment in issues and problems • Embrace bank culture and values Job Duties & responsibilities • Perform exception checks on trade validation of Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Non-Deliverable Forwards trades against source documents / trade confirmation in Core system • Perform settlement for above mentioned Treasury products. • Perform control and completeness checks at specific timings. • Monitor and handle end-to-end CLS control functions including exception handling of unmatched/alleged trades, Reconciliations, Control checks and necessary follow ups and escalation. • Ensures all reconciliation breaks or exceptions are investigated and resolved within stipulated turnaround time • Ensure all inquiries (email or SWIFT) related to pre and post-trade are effectively managed • Perform monthly brokerage reconciliation and payments. • Drive & support initiatives and projects as assigned. Job Requirements • At least 5 year of banking operation experience, preferably with product knowledge in • Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Non-Deliverable Forwards products • Experience in various operation functions which includes processing, reconciliation, settlements etc • Experience in process & system design analysis, automation/digitization project, project management. • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint, Data Analytics, Design workflow • Proficient in Business Intelligence Tools and programming will be an advantage • (Example: Tableau, VBA, Python) • Proficient in future of work knowledges & skills is an advantage. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification Location: DBS Asia Gateway Job: Operations Schedule: Regular Employee Status: Full time
