WHAT YOU WILL DO ONBOARD
• Ensure on board safety and a secure voyage
• Contribute to sustainable and efficient operations
• Remain informed with regular meetings and training sessions
• Ensure compliance of patents and crew qualifications
• Maintain smooth operations with accurate and timely reporting
Leadership:
• Represent the Captain when required
• Make key decisions and lead with authority

On board requirements
• Proven ability to sail independently in any and all conditions
• Independent and flexible mentality
• Dedicated to further education and obtaining additional licenses
• Decisive and assertive with an ability to make key decisions with confidence
• Inspire and work well with your team
• Lead by example and demonstrate accountability
• Exhibit strong leadership skills English mandatory
• Additional languages are a strong asset: Dutch, French, German, Slovakian, Hungarian …
Essential Qualifications:
• Boatmaster
• VHF
• Radar
• Safety Expert (Sachkunde)
Required Licenses:
• Danube patent from km 190 to km 2,322 or
• Rhine patent from km 333 to km 857 or
• French unlimited length license
