The O pportunity
The Risk Officer is a critical role within the second line of defense for the Merchant Services (MS) Division within Worldline. In this role you will be a part of the team leading the charge in strengthening our company's internal controls and risk management processes. If you're someone with an ability to explain risk concepts, a liking for facilitating risk workshops and a keen interest in ICT risk management , we'd love to hear from you.
Reporting directly to the Entity’s Chief Risk and Compliance, and also supporting your local entity’s management team and senior specialists, you'll play an integral role in driving the effective operation of our operating environment. You will be supported by the global entity risk officer network and will also participate in global risk initiatives to ensure that risk management industry best practices are rolled-out across the Merchant Services Division.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Advocate for a sound risk management culture through awareness and stakeholder engagement within Sweden, ensuring inter-departmental collaborations.
• Develop tools, processes and procedures for operational risk management, with focus on ICT-risk including Third-party risk.
• Providing risk expertise and collaborate with the local management team and senior specialists to design an effective control environment.
• Facilitate enterprise wide operational risk and control assessments as well as specific ICT and Third Party risk assessments across the company's operations
• Coordinate and independently challenge risk assessments of new products, services, organizational units, and significant changes
• Analyze the effectiveness of controls and other mitigating measures and suggesting improvements
• Develop and oversee compliance with operational risk policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, both locally and in our business globally.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
• 4+ years within a 2nd line Risk Management and/or Control Function role.
• Excellent knowledge and awareness related to enterprise and operational risk management industry best practices and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
• Knowledge about DORA, incl incident- and third party risk management.
• Experience in or with strongly regulated institutions and industries.
• Self-driven ethics and initiative in assignments and stakeholder management.
• Ability to present and influence decision making with executive audiences.
• Experience working in matrix organizations.
• Not a must but would be great if you have some of the following skills, too:
• Industry experience in payment and/or banking
• Bachelor’s Degree (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent)
• Industry Risk Management Certifications (CRMA, CRISC, CISA etc.)
• Risk Management / GRC tool experience
• Experience with analytics and automation tooling (Power BI, Power Apps)
• A constructive, positive, and dynamic attitude, exemplified through proactive problem-solving and enthusiastic collaboration, is beneficial to the role.
