Risk & Compliance Manager | Top UK Law Firm London AND Brighton Office | Permanent Opportunity Salary Up To £80,000pa + Benefits | Hybrid Working Our client, an award winning UK law firm, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis – working as their new Risk & Compliance Manager. For this role, you’ll be required to attend both the London and Brighton offices on a regular basis (2-3 days a week, split between both offices). Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to add a full-time Risk & Compliance to work alongside their current Head of Risk. As the successful Risk & Compliance Manager, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following: • Advising Fee-Earners on professional conduct matters (conflicts, ethics, SRA Standards, SRA Accounts Rules) • Monitoring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct • Managing claims again the firm • Investigation and coordinating responses to complaints • Conducting compliance audits for practice groups • Contributing to senior management reports • Supporting due diligence on mergers and acquisitions • Reviewing terms of business Plus much more. To be considered for this Risk & Compliance Manager opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following: • Have previous/existing Legal Risk & Compliance experience at a senior level (Supervisor/Manager/Qualified Lawyer) • Be able to commute between the London and Brighton offices • Have detailed knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct, SRA Standards and Indemnity Insurance Rules • Be familiar with risk management techniques and frameworks If you are interested in this position and you’re keen to discuss this role further, get in touch as soon as possible.
