ABIS is currently seeking a Rigging Supervisor with experience in the Oil & Gas industry to oversee rigging operations on our project sites. The Rigging Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all rigging activities in compliance with safety standards and project requirements. The role involves ensuring all rigging personnel work efficiently and safely, liaising with other departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the rigging process. Responsibilities Supervise rigging activities on oil & gas or relevant industrial sites to ensure safety and efficiency. Plan and coordinate rigging operations with project managers and site engineers. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks related to rigging activities. Provide technical guidance and training to rigging personnel. Maintain documentation of rigging activities, equipment inspections, and personnel certifications. Identify and resolve any issues or hazards during rigging operations promptly. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Rigging Supervisor, preferably in the oil & gas industry. Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety standards. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Good communication and coordination capabilities. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to rigging. Relevant certifications in rigging and safety preferred. Ability to work in challenging environments and under pressure.
